Vikings are 6-0!!

WHAT A GAME!!!!

i mean i knew when my brett favre and the vikings took on the ravens, it would be a good game but HOLY SHIT! that was one of the most exciting, nerveracking games ive seen in a long time. props to the ravens for never letting up but the dome magic did it again. and that final pass from favre to rice???!!! WOW!!! i may be bias, because i LOVE brett favre, but for real, the guy is simply AMAZING!!! best QB ever in my opinion!!

anyway the vikings are still undefeated and next week will travel to take on the defending superbowl champs, the steelers. with polamalu back, it will be a tough game but its almost as if the vikings are meant to go all the way, isnt it??? i mean the miracle throw and catch against the 49'ers, the buttkicking in green bay and now the dome magic against the ravens??? its almost like destiny for #4 and the men in purple. keep rolling, vikings!!!

Props to the NFL for Saying No to Limbaugh

right wing nutjob rush limbaugh will have to look elsewhere to spread his racist and homophobic views because the NFL voted down limbaughs attempt to buy the st. louis rams. no owner in the NFL voted in limbaugh's favor, thank god. many owners said that because of limbaughs racist remarks concerning eagles QB donovan mcnabb and his saying that the NFL resembles "the bloods versus the crypts without the weapons," the players would not only feel uncomfortable but wouldnt play for him.

i say job well done for the NFL and its owners. the last thing anyone needs is yet another outlet for rush limbaugh to spew his hate. being a HUGE football fan, i cant thank the NFL enough for stepping up and showing limbaugh the door.

hello there everyone. this is my first post so i can get all the cliche beginners stuff out of the way. the name is ashley and im about to be 19. born and raised in oklahoma(unfortunately) and starting college in january. as u might have guessed, i am a liberal, much to my family's chagrin. i find myself growing increasingly weary of fox news and republicans in general so i thought id blog about it. though this blog will mainly consist of political musings, i may also sneak in a movie, cd or book review in from time, along with anything about daniel day lewis, david thewlis, stephen colbert or harry potter, for they are my other hobbies. so read if u like and feel free to comment. im more than willing to have a dialogue with anyone who wants one.
